i’ve had the pentax touch-screen camera, but alas it has broken after 2.5 years of using it extensively. rip 
anyways, i need new digital camera, and would love a new touch-screen. i’ve tried the coolpix one, but really dislike the horrible quality of it. any other cameras u would suggest? (either touch-screen or not…) and preferably with a big screen…
my budget is around $300 or less if possible. my main focus is the picture and screen quality.

Sunday, February 28th, 2010I am aware the fuji is not SLR and the Nikon is (dont mind, not necessarily looking for an SLR, just a good camera that will allow me to experiment!) i can get the s5800 brand new for £87 thru asda, as i work there with staff discount etc. however i’ve seen the Nikon D40 and i am aware these are more pricey (around the £150 mark i can get it for)
should i wait and save up for the D40 or is the s5800 a good camera and a good price?
